She became the first Nicaraguan woman to be crowned Miss Universe.

Who won the Miss Universe 2023?

Nicaragua has won the title of Miss Universe 2023.

The 72nd Miss Universe final was held on Sunday, November 19, where 90 contestants from different countries competed for the prestigious title.

Ultimately, Miss Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios has been able to be crowned the Miss Universe title.

The beauty pageant event took place at the Jose Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador.

Similarly, the event was hosted by American television personality Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo.

This was the very first time that the pageant was hosted by two females.

Who is Sheynnis Palacios? Age, Education

Sheynnis Palacios, whose full name is Sheynnis Alondra Palacios Cornejo, is a Nicaraguan model. She was born on May 31, 2000. As of now, she is 23 years old.

She hails from Managua, Nicaragua. Talking about her education qualification, she graduated from the Universidad Centroamericana receiving a degree in mass communication.

During her college years, she also played varsity volleyball for the university.

Sheynnis has won various titles so far. She made her modeling debut in her teenage winning the Miss Teen Nicaragua 2016 pageant.

Eventually, Sheynnis was announced the winner of Miss Nicaragua 2023 on August 5, 2023, and following that she won the title of Miss Universe 2023.

On the final ramp walk, she opted for a glittery silver gown which paired with a blue cape in honor of her country as Nicaragua features a white and blue flag.

Meanwhile, she proudly flowing a long layered vibrant blue cape during her walk.

The gown featured a sultry sweetheart neckline that oozed oomph and was highlighted with a sheer factor decorating the chest, arms, and torso sides with crystals.

In addition, she attached the gown with a seperated pair of long sleeves.

Sheynnis Palacios is involved in a romantic relationship. She seems to be dating Hanny Javier Falcon.

In June 2022, Hanny shared an Instagram post mentioning Palacios as his soulmate. He posted a series of photos of the two, which appears to be from their graduation day, and captioned it,

“Thank you, my soulmate, for being a light on each of my days, stretching me your hand, being my support in difficult times and my balance in moments of fullness, with your love, I have felt the company of mine, when I needed it most.
