It’s over for Ne-Yo and his estranged wife, Crystal Renay as they opted for divorce amidst the cheating allegations.

The wife of Miss Independent singer, Crystal Renay is divorcing on the charges of cheating

Crystal Renay, 36, submitted the legal documents in Georgia court on Monday, August 1 immediately upon their July 22 split.

The couple who started a trial separation in 2020 is now on the edge of divorcing after their Las Vegas second wedding ceremony in April 2022.

Crystal Renay is seeking the legal procedure to terminate her marriage to NE-YO after allegedly involving him in a cheating controversy.

In addition, Renay signaled the cheating scandal of her husband of 6 years and partner of 8 years is deceptive through her Instagram post captioned,

“Eight years. 8 years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and my husband with numerous women who sell their bodies to him unprotected…every last one of them!”

The R&B singer NE-YO has a broken marriage with his wife with no chances of reconciliation as Renay continued,

“To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is a[n] understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist. I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t. I choose me, I choose my happiness and health and my respect.”

A glance at the Broken marriage of Crystal and Ne-Yo

American rapper NE-YO, 42, was married to Crystal Renay for 6 long years after their February 2016 nuptials. Their relationships and marital bliss went off for a period in between but their July 22, 2022 decision of parting ways is permanent.

The former couple whose divorce hearing is scheduled in a Georgia courtroom are parents to three children. Upon separating from ex-husband Ne-Yo, Crystal Renay further added,

“I gained 3 beautiful children out of this but nothing else but wasted years and heartache.”

Ne-Yo and Renay co-parent three children: 13-month-old daughter Isabella Rose, sons Roman Alexander-Raj, 4, and Shaffer Chimere Jr., 6.

The So Sick singer recently fathered a child with another woman who remains anonymous which is the main reason for their parting ways.

Meanwhile, Renay Williams is seeking primary physical custody, joint legal custody, child support, and alimony once the divorce is finalized.

Ne-Yo is also father to daughter Madilyn Grace Smith born on November 12, 2010, with his then-girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw. Not to forget he has a son Chimere born in 2005, the eldest of Ne-Yo’s 6 children.
