Nikki Haley gave a start to her career after her graduation from Clemson University, Haley joined the FCR Corporation which was waste management and recycling company. Later, she resigned from the company to join her mother’s clothing line.

Nikki Haley joined Exotica International in the year 1994, which went on to become a billion-dollar business. Before being elected to the House of Representatives in South Carolina in the year 2004, she was President of the National Association of Women Business Owners.

In addition, Haley gave her name for the  Governor of South Carolina in the 2010 elections as a Republican nominee and won it followed up by the 2014 elections, where she again won in reelection.

Nikki Haley, then governor of South Carolina, signed a bill that removed the Confederate battle flag from the statehouse grounds in July 2015.

Later, she had to resign from the post of Governor because she was named as United States Ambassador to the United Nations, announced by the newly elected President Donald Trump.

There was a rumor that Nikki Haley was picked as United States Ambassador to the United Nations, the question regarding global warming had arisen.

Whether she agreed or not to the 2012 tweet by Donald Trump stating that “created by and for the Chinese to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive” is “nonsense.” Later, she responded that “President Trump believes the climate is changing and he believes pollutants are part of the equation.”

Her work as an ambassador was loved by everyone including the President of the US. However, on 9th October 2018, she resigned from her post.

Nikki Haley was controversial when the political blogger Will Folks said, she has cheated on her husband and make a physical relationship with him. Although, she denied that and promised that she would resign if any of Folks’ claims proved valid.

Earlier this year Nikki Haley was in limelight for another criticism where she blamed the UN Security Council for refusing to discuss the threat post the Islamic State of Iraq Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in favor of criticizing Israel. Later, she wrote, “the council must end its practice of wrongly singling out Israel for criticism.”

Nikki Haley is a straightforward person and during an annual gathering of media and political types in New York City, she revealed the dark side of the countries where opponents do evil practices like rape, torture, etc. in the name of politics. And says that what is being practiced in the US is not evil as compared to them.
