Changed perception of parenthood – Caterina Scorsone Is Pregnant With Baby No. 3!

Caterina Scorsone took her Instagram to share the exciting news on Friday.

Rise to a kind of tenderness

Caterina Scorsone married her longtime boyfriend, Rob Giles (singer-songwriter). They got married on June 27, 2009. They welcomed their first daughter Eliza on July 6, 2012.

Again, they welcomed their second daughter Paloma Michaela on November 8, 2016. Since the birth of her second daughter, she uses her platform to advocate for those diagnosed with Down syndrome.

Currently, she is living with her husband and children in Los Angeles. About Down syndrome, Caterina wrote:

“As Down syndrome awareness month comes to a close I want to post one more time. A lot of parents who find out their new baby has Down syndrome worry about what the impact of having a child with differences will be on their other kids. They haven’t seen it modeled so they are afraid of it. I wish I could show everyone the joy and sweetness and love that has expanded and grown in our family since Pippa was born.”

Caterina talks about the love between her two daughters. Despite having differences, it gives rise to a kind of tenderness. As a mother, she truly takes Paloma (Pippa) as the greatest gift for lightening their family.

Ready to welcome third child

Caterina shared a family Halloween picture with a hashtag saying #pumpkinintheoven”. Moreover, she captioned the family picture as “Our Family’s about to get even kookier”. She has been open about raising her girls. Her perception of parenthood has changed over the years.

“I think the strange thing about parenthood that you hear and it turns out to be true is that everything about them becomes beautiful.”

Her first pregnancy was also written into the show. Her second pregnancy was avoided by producers. This time on her third pregnancy, her character is currently pregnant onscreen. She told PEOPLE.

“I think one thing that changes when you have kids is that nothing is in your control anymore, You have to roll with whatever is happening and there are people that are now in your life very intimately and in your space who have distinctly different personalities from you.”
