Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s infant makes his Instagram debut

Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy‘s baby boy has made his Instagram debut.

The Australian professional dancer, 36, shared a snap of their newborn son on Wednesday with a caption, ”Rio John Chmerkovskiy”. He was born on June 18.

The dancer announced,

“We are overjoyed to share our baby boy with all of you,”

She continued that her 6-year-old son, Shai “is already the best big brother and we all feel very complete.”

The doting mom concluded, “Life is good XO.”

The snap showed the couple’s rainbow baby laying on a white comforter as he wore a nude onesie and matching beanie. The baby also had a nude-colored pacifier in his mouth.

His parents also placed a circle-shaped board next to him that read, “Rio John.”

Many stars sent their love to the couple for their youngest bundle of joy, with new mom Rumer Willis writing,

”Hi sweet boy. I love you already.”

Jessica James Decker wrote “He’s perfect,” with multiple heart emojis.

On Monday, the Dancing With the Stars pros announced that they have welcomed their rainbow baby.

Chmerkovskiy, 43, shared a snap of himself holding his baby from the hospital, writing, “Happy Father’s Day to me! #MadeInPeta,”

Peta suffered multiple miscarriages in the past

It was in January that Murgatroyd revealed that she and her husband announced they were expecting a rainbow baby after suffering many miscarriages and one round of IVF.

Before their second pregnancy, the couple was always very open about the problems and difficulties they faced while trying to conceive another child.

In 2020, Murgatroyd suffered her first pregnancy loss while she was in a Whole Foods bathroom.

She told People last June,

“I was sitting in the bathroom sobbing,”
“That was something that will probably live with me for the rest of my life, being on that toilet by myself, knowing what was happening and not being able to stop it.”

She then admitted that she had other two miscarriages saying that she was embarrassed and ashamed at the time.

The dancing star told the publication that she was devastated by the losses.

The Ukrainian superstar said,

“I never thought that two healthy, athletic people could be in a predicament like this,”
“It’s a lot to process.”

After consulting a specialist, the couple started being hopeful of having another baby.

That same month, Murgatroyd underwent an egg retrieval to begin her IVF process. Two months later she had an embryo transfer despite having PCOs.
