American TV host, Pete Hegseth minced no words when he slammed the current Democratic government over their failure to crush the rising crimes in San Francisco.

Pete Hegseth and his blunt attack on the US government

Pete Hegseth, 43 is a senior American TV host and an Army National Guard officer. He is a Republican and is unhappy with the way that the current Democratic government headed by Joe Biden is working.

The Fox News personality, Pete was talking on the show Jesse Watters Primetime. He slammed the government for its sluggishness in dealing with the rising crimes in San Francisco. Pete said:

“San Francisco’s leadership turned a once-beautiful city into an abyss filled with crime, drugs, and homelessness. You know that,”

Pete revealed that those who work for Democratic California Rep. Nancy Pelosi and other federal employees have a direction from higher authorities to work from home since their lives are in danger if they go to their office.

He also raised concerns about the construction of a tower in the city. It is worth billions of US dollars but could well become the hub of crimes.

Pete is no fan of Kamala Harris

Pete did not mince any words while bashing Kamala Harris. He said:

“It’s not just Nancy who flushed the city down the toilet,”
“Kamala Harris was the D.A. of San Francisco for six years. She could’ve helped prevent this, but of course she failed like she does at everything,”

One day before, Republican California Rep. Kevin Kiley had also criticized the government for their inability to rectify the various problems in San Francisco. Kevin had said:

“How do you make San Francisco, one of the most beautiful places on Earth, the most popular city in U.S. history to leave? And it’s because of the failure of these radical progressive policies,”

Problems of San Francisco

San Francisco is a wonderful and vibrant city. But it is losing its sheen due to the mounting crime rate in the city.

Pete stated that the residents of this beautiful city as well as Seattle are relocating to other places in large numbers to save themselves.

The out-going migration has been in large numbers and it does not seem to cease. The people are worried about the use of illegal drugs in the area and the gun violence.

Homicides in the city have increased 20.7% since the advent of 2023. Robberies have shown a rise of 14% and car thefts have increased by 13%.

But the government has either taken no steps to half this chaos. Or else their steps have been ineffective. They need to investigate thoroughly and amplify the counter-measures to bring down the crimes and prevent mass people migration to other cities and states.
