Jenelle accused of child abuse

Jenelle Evans has been off and on in the tabloids frequently for her relationships, breakups, children, and drug abuse. She gave birth to a cute daughter called Ensley on 24 January 2017.

All seemed to be well and viewers thought that Jenelle has overcome her drug addiction issue and is living happily with Ensley’s father David Eason.

But Hollywood Gossip has found that things are otherwise. Jenelle Evans has been alleged to be a child abuser by way of child neglect.

The document obtained from the North Carolina Department of Social Services has revealed that Jenelle used to smoke weed when she was pregnant with little Ensley.

She did not luckily take marijuana or alcohol which might have been more harmful.

But the child had tested positive for the drug, the nature of which was, however, not specified. It was most likely marijuana.

In March 2017, both parents tested positive for the banned drugs. A visit to their homes by the Social Services department personnel revealed the smell of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), and the child was in the same room.

The papers further say:

“Neither parent cooperated in testing additionally when requested to do so,”

All efforts by the assigned social worker to rehab them seemed to have gone futile. The documents also say that the case was closed in May.

The shocking reason cited is that the couple was able to obtain medical marijuana cards in California.

Jenelle’s relationship timeline

Jenelle has had complex to-and-from relationships with multiple people. Teen mom Jenelle is a mother of three: Jace Vahn Evans, Kaiser Orion Griffith, and Ensley Jolie Eason.

She was dating Andrew Lewis in 2009 and had got pregnant with his child. She delivered her son Jace in August 2009. She was less than 18 years at that time. However, the couple soon separated.

In 2010, she started dating Kieffer Delp after meeting at a beach party.

In October 2010, the duo was arrested for break-in and drug possession. In Spring 2011, Jenelle broke with him due to his continuous bad boy ways.

In the fall of 2011, she dated Josh for 5 days. Gary Head enters the picture now and they date each other from January 2012. They ring in the New Year together.

By June 2012, they had split. From July to September 2012, Jenelle was back with Kieffer Delp. She took back to substance and heroin abuse with Kieffer.

With her mother Barbara’s help, Jenelle entered rehab and dumped Kieffer. She started dating her longtime friend Courtland Rogers in September 2012 and married him on 4 December 2012.

They had a marital fight and Jenelle had a miscarriage. They separated. She got back with Gary Head but soon came to know that Gary was cheating on her with ex-girlfriend Jade Dolph.

She again entered rehab and came back to Courtland. By April 2013, they separated and Courtland was sent to jail while Jenelle moved back with her mom.

On Tinder, Jenelle found part-time model Nathan Griffith and dated him from June 2013 to August 2015. She delivered a son Kaiser with him in June 2014.

They split and from September 2015, she started her relationship with pipe-welder David Eason. Her third child, a daughter Ensley was born in January 2017 with David.

Child abuse

Jenelle has been accused of child abuse. She has not physically or emotionally exploited her daughter. But child abuse does not only entail this sort of attack on a child.

Any sort of deprivation on the part of the parent or caregiver; be it emotional, health care or food, is also included under the term of child abuse.

Jenelle was risking her daughter’s life and health by smoking during pregnancy and in front of her. Hence it is considered as a case of child neglect and child abuse.
