More than one year ago, American actress, Reese Witherspoon had divorced her husband. Now, there are some reports that allege that she was spotted with a new man. Has she started a new relationship? Who is her new boyfriend?

Reese Witherspoon spotted with a new guy

American actress, Reese Witherspoon, 48 was photographed with German financier, Oliver Haarmann, 57 recently. They were walking together in New York City on 4 September 2024. It was one month back that rumors of their romance surfaced. But neither of them have confirmed or denied the rumors.

Reese was wearing a black mini dress with short sleeves for this outing. And her feet were protected in strappy sandals of black color. On the other hand, Oliver was in a navy-colored blazer with blue shirt, khakhi trousers and brown shoes. They were coming out of a building and waiting for a ride.

The two have been seen together on a number of occasions over the last few weeks. On 1 September, they were at the New York City heliport. Reese was with her two sons, Deacon Phillippe, 20 and Tennessee Toth, 11. Earlier, in late July, they were out on a dinner date in the Apple City.

Reese’s past relationships

Reese has been married twice and divorced twice. In March 1997 during her 21st birthday party, Reese met American actor, Ryan Phillippe, 49. Soon after, they started dating. Later, engagement came for them in December 1998. And they walked down the aisle together on 9 June 1999 at the Old Wide Awake Plantation located in Hollywood, South Carolina.

Their first child, daughter Ava Elizabeth Phillippe arrived on 9 September 1999. Later, on 23 October 2003, their second child, son Deacon Reese Phillippe was born.

But their marriage collapsed and they announced their separation on 30 October 2006. There is no spousal support to either party but they share joint custody of their kids.

Reese dated actor Jake Gyllenhaal for two years (2007-2009). And from February 2010, she was in relationship with talent agent, Jim Toth. The two engaged in December of 2010 and by 16 March 2011, they were already married. The venue was Reese’s Libbey Ranch, Ojai, CA. Their son Tennessee James Toth was born on 27 September 2012.

Last year March, the two split and issued a joint statement that read:

“It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce,”
“We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together.”

Past relationships of Oliver Haarmann

Oliver is the co-founder of the private equity company, Searchlight Capital Partners. He holds a German passport and did a bachelor’s degree in history and international relations in 1990 from Brown University. He also holds MBA qualification from the Harvard business school which he completed in 1996.

Oliver dated equity businesswoman and head of hedge fund SurgoCap Partners, Mala Gopal Gaonkar, 54. Later, the two wed. The exact date of their marriage is not known.

The couple share two children together. Both are sons but their date of birth is not known. The pair are currently divorced.
