Reese Witherspoon and Kevin Costner are not dating despite rumors that the couple’s romance rumors swirling online, Page Six confirms.

The actress’s reps said, “This story is completely fabricated and not true,”

Speculations about the two stars’ being an item started making headlines after internet users speculated that the two could be seeing each other amid their respective divorces.

Naughty but Nice podcast host Rob Shuter asked on X,

“POLL OF THE DAY: Kevin Costner is rumored to be romancing Reese Witherspoon. Do you love this new couple?”

Another person tweeted,

A third person quipped,

Fans thought the two would look good together since she announced her divorce from Jim Toth after 12 years of marriage.

Kevin Costner and Reese Witherspoon’s respective messy divorces

The Sweet Home Alabama star shared a statement in March that despite their separation, they “have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together.”

The Oscar-winning actress filed for divorce from the former talent agent just a week later after the announcement. The exes co-parent 11-year-old son Tennessee. Witherspoon is also a mom to daughter Ava, 24, and son Deacon, 20, whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

Fans also speculated that Reese moved on with Tom Brady after his divorce from supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Both reps confirmed that the rumors were not true and that they never even met.
