Rodney Tyson is a celebrity family member. He came into the limelight of the media as the older brother of an American former professional boxer Mike Tyson.

He was born to the late father Jimmy Kirkpatrick and mother Lorna Smith Tyson in the year 1961. As of 2023, he is 62 years old.

Rodney hails from Brownsville, Brooklyn, New York, in the same neighborhood where his brother Mike grew up.

He is the eldest of three siblings. Alongside Mike, he had a younger sister Denise, who died of a heart attack at the age of 24 in February 1990.
