Ryan Lochte and Kayla Rae Ried have expanded their family! The 31-year-old model gave birth to her third child a baby girl named Georgia June Lochte on Wednesday, June 21.

Before giving birth, the new mom told Us Weekly,

“[We’re] thrilled. We are so excited. Ryan is such a great dad; I can’t wait to see him as a father to 3. He’s so great with kids in general, they always gravitate towards him.”
“I am excited as well, [but] I am more of the worrier, the strict one, the not-as-fun parent, let’s just say. It makes for a good balance.”

The couple is already a parent to two children a son Caiden Zane Lochte, 7, and a daughter Liv Rae, 4.

Kayla revealed the newborn’s name was one the couple ‘easily’ agreed to. She told the outlet,

“Her middle name has a play on the timing of her birth and a family member,”

Similarly, they decorated the infant’s nursery with a fun theme including “pink and green tones with a southern eclectic feel”.

Well, the baby arrived nine months after Kayla announced her pregnancy with a clip of the family moving around in the sand, smiling and laughing at a beach.

In the video, the beautiful couple can be seen sharing a sweet kiss while Kayla shows off her baby bump in a flowy blue dress, smiling as Lochte holds her.

How long have Ryan Lochte and Kayla Rae Ried been together?

Ryan and Kayla first met back in 2016 after the model slid into the swimmer’s DM on Instagram. In a 2018 interview with PEOPLE, Ryan reminisced about their first meeting, revealing,

“She was living in L.A. at the time and I was in Charlotte, North Carolina,”
I went to L.A. for training and was going out to a club. She was going out to the same club with her girlfriend.”

The Gold winner revealed that they talked for eight to ten hours about everything and started dating since next day.

“We just talked about what we want in life … our goals, family, everything. I think right after that I was just like, “She’s the one””.

After dating for almost two years, they took a milestone in their relationship. In September 2018, the lovebirds tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Palm Springs.

The following year after their wedding, they welcomed their second child, daughter Liv in June 2019.
