Ryan Hunter Palmer was born September 19, 1976, in Amarillo, Texas. Ryan is 47 years old. Ryan’s nationality is American and of mixed ethnicity.

He was born to Butch Palmer and Gloria Palmer.

Ryan attended Amarillo High School and graduated in 1995. He later attended the University of North Texas.

As a result, he spent one-year playing golf at the university. He later transferred to Texas A&M University for a three-year term. He graduated from university in 2000.

Ryan’s professional career began after he completed college. Ryan took part in numerous mini-tours between 2000 and 2002. In 2003, he performed on the National Wide Tour. He won the Clearwater Classic and finished sixth on the 2004 PGA Tour card.

Ryan began his PGA Tour career at the FUNAI Classic held at the Walt Disney World Resort. He won by three strokes against Vijay Singh and Briny Baird. Later, in the 2009 Ginn Sur Mer Classic, he won the PGA Tour Fall Series.

In addition, Ryan won his third PGA Tour event at the Sony Open. He won the stroke over Robert Allenby. Later competed in the HP Byron Nelson Championship in Texas.

Unfortunately, he was unable to earn his fourth career championship. Ryan lost another sudden-death playoff at the Honda Classic in March 2014. Later, he participated in the four-man playoff.

And, as the only one to shoot an under-par final round. Unfortunately, Ryan missed the green in two and was unable to get up and down. And leaving Russell Henley to shoot from three feet for the win.

As a result, it was his second runner-up finish this year. Thus, after finishing two shots behind Patrick Reed in the Humana Challenge.

Ryan began the 2017-18 season on a Major Medical Extension. Later, he set the terms of his medical prolongation. And the player attempted to snap his eight-year winless streak on tour.

As a result, he played in the final group. And he birdied the 72nd hole to force a playoff with Jason and Alex. Unfortunately, Ryan was eliminated on the first extra hole.
