Sasha Farber and Emma Slater first met in 2009 on the set of Broadway’s Burn The Floor. Two years later, in 2011, the couple confirmed that they were dating.

Their relationship did not go smoothly and they decided to call it quits after three years of dating in 2014. However, the couple continued to work together in Dancing With The Stars.

After a year of their split, they decided to give it another shot and started dating again.

Sasha proposed in October 2016 on Dancing With the Stars. During the live show, he proposed:

“Babe, I wanted to do this for such a long, long time. I love you so much. Will you marry me?”

Slater accepted the proposal.

In 2018, the couple exchanged wedding vows. Slater and Farber’s first dance was to Ed Sheeran‘s “Perfect”. In addition to close friends and family, the wedding was also attended by their fellow DWTS colleagues including Julianne Hough, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Drew Scott, and Cheryl Burke.
