The whole incident of hate comments

Scarlett Moffatt had received a lot of nasty remarks on her Instagram. To avoid further problems, this time after posting her old picture on her Instagram, Scarlett decided to block all comments on it.

Scarlett, 28 thus took some action against any cruel trolls that would come her way after she uploaded her picture.
In the picture, Scarlett appears thinner than she is now.

She is wearing a black and white top and her legs are exposed in the picture. Scarlett has shared this throwback snap with her, 1.8 million followers. She had captioned this post as:

“Throw back to when I dressed like the McDonald’s hamburger thief.”

There were several rude comments posted to her post and hence she decided to shut off the comments from her haters.

Scarlett posted a selfish soon after this and she used the picture edit tool and app’s face filter to put a pair of heart-shaped sunglasses on her eyes in the picture.
She captioned this second picture:

“Got my love glasses on blocking out the haters #sunshine #selfie #holiday.”

Her fans appeared supportive. One wrote:

“Do you even have haters? You’re the sickest person! Nothing but respect for you!”

Another of her fans posted:

“Your beautiful, and such a Lovely person. They are only jealous.”

Scarlett has on a previous occasion stated that the trolls and hate messages she has been receiving on her social media have made her cry for days. She told You magazine:

“Oh my God, I’ve cried so much.
“There have been times in these past weeks when I’ve had to push myself to get out of bed.”

She had made a fitness DVD for which she had lost weight from 11 stone 4 lbs to 8 stone.

The DVD flopped and Scarlett texted one of her friends:

“It’s so hard losing weight anyway without this pressure of having to persuade people you’re doing everything they’re telling you.
“Even though I know it’s bad on my body only eating like 600/700 calories a day (crying emoji).”

She had sent another message which read:

“My mam’s going to call I can’t do this anymore its too much and I’m having to almost persuade people to believe me — I wanted to make an honest DVD this doesn’t feel right.”

Scarlett and her recent breakup

Scarlett had broken up with her boyfriend Lee Wilkinson around three weeks back. She had taken a break from social media for it. Scarlett had to her fans at that time that she was going to take a week off from social media and had quit social media for some time.

She had signed off with:

“Have a good week everyone x”

There were some trust issues and a source said:

“He’s walked out and Scarlett’s been begging him to come back,”

The insider added:

“It looks like a case of leopards never changing their spots, as there are still a lot of trust issues between them.”

There is a feeling that they began dating based on lies after Lee split from his then-girlfriend Sam last December. The source said:

“There’s been a lot of arguments recently and he’s made a big deal of hiding his relationship status. They’ve been messaging since he walked out, and Scarlett’s begged him not to leave her. They’ve both changed their profile pictures on all social media. It seems pretty final this time.”

The whole fight started when Scarlett sent a message to her ex and this upset Lee. He swapped his Facebook profile picture of the two to his solo one.
