Sharon Osbourne reveals her husband’s extramarital affair affected her
Sharon Osbourne shocked her fans by saying that she attempted suicide after learning of her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s extramarital affair.
The TV host said during her appearance onstage during her Cut the Crap show in London,
“He always, always had groupies, and I was so used to that,”
“But when he knows the name of the person, where they live and where they work … it is a whole different thing, as you are emotionally invested. I took, I don’t know how many pills.”
The X Factor alum, who shares daughters Aimee, 40, and Kelly, 39, as well as son Jack, 38, with the Black Sabbath frontman, admitted she felt her kids’ “older” ages would leave them able to “take care of themselves.”
The former reality star recalled,
”So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom,”
“The maid tried to come in to clean room and saw me.”
Fans supported Sharon with one writing,
”Ozzy, the living corpse. Hairdresser must have been in it for the money.”
Another wrote,
”Yeah, my ex husband cheated too, and I was pregnant at the time and yes it hurt. It was devastating but killing myself over his mess didn’t cross my mind,”

Sharon and Ozzy renewed their wedding vows in 2017
Ozzy and Sharon have been married since 1982 but announced their separation in 2016 after his 4-year-long affair with a hairstylist.
Ozzy checked into rehab for sex addiction later that year and later the two confirmed their reconciliation.
The two renewed their wedding vows on Mother’s Day in 2017 in Las Vegas.
A source said at the time,
“This is something Sharon has wanted for some time. She had been talking about the possibility with friends since last year after dealing with their problems.”
”But when it came to the day itself she wanted to keep things very low-key. They are obviously used to doing everything in the spotlight but made a conscious decision to keep this quiet.”
”It was just an intimate family get-together at the hotel with their children and very nearest and dearest there.”
Despite being able to overcome her marital issues, the former The Talk co-host revealed in 2019 that she tried committing suicide thrice due to her depression.
She said at the time,
“I was joking about this, but I shouldn’t, talking about my depression, and it’s like, you know, saying, ‘Oh, the first time I tried to kill myself was OK, the second — all right, the third time, oy!’”
“But it’s like, I’m still here. I still do what I do and you struggle.”
