The singer and the actress sparked dating rumors weeks ago after fans spotted them together in LA.
While Mendes denied the rumors, Carpenter has not said anything about them.

Shawn Mendes wants everyone to know that he is not dating Sabrina Carpenter amid rumors of their dating were all around the internet.

Mendes told on a TV program on Friday,

“We are not dating,”

The Senorita singer then suggested they talk about his partnership with Tommy Hilfiger “probably more than Sabrina, but thank you.”

Sabrina, on the other hand, has not spoken anything about the rumors.

Mendes and Carpenter first sparked dating rumors when a celebrity gossip account named Deuxmou posted an article saying they both looked “verrry comfortable” while “clearly on a date” at Horses in Los Angeles the past month.

Since then, the Stitches singer, 24, and Carpenter, 23, have only fueled the rumors as they were pictured leaving Miley Cyrus‘ Endless Summer Vacation album release party together last week in LA.

The couple allegedly left in the same car together after the celebrations.

Shortly after the Deuxmoi post, the alleged couple was seen running errands, dressed casually in Los Angeles.

While the couple did not show any PDA, Sabrina could not stop smiling while chatting with Mendes.

Mendes broke up with Camilla Cabello after nearly three years of dating

Before Shawn and Carpenter rumors made headlines, the Canadian pop star was said to have been dating his 52-year-old chiropractor Dr. Jocelyne Miranda since last summer.

The two also went on a hike together at Runyon Canyon Park in Los Angeles, showing off their fit bodies. It was just before the Mercy singer hinted at his new romance with the Nonsense songstress.

Mendes and Miranda started spending a lot of time together after Mendes and Cabello parted ways.

She even accompanied Mendes to a Grammys afterparty last month and went on to do some grocery shopping around the same time.

Shawn has not publicly dated anyone since his serious relationship with Camila Cabello in November 2021. They dated famously for two years before calling it quits.

The Havana singer and the Wonder hitmaker released a joint statement addressing their split,

“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for another as humans is stronger than ever,”

After the split, Carpenter started dating Dylan O’Brien last September but called it quits a few months later.
