Tallulah Willis reflects on her mom’s second marriage
Tallulah Willis might be the daughter of two of the most famous faces of Hollywood but that doesn’t mean her life was easy.
The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore revealed that her mom’s marriage to actor Ashton Kutcher negatively impacted her.
While appearing on the Monday, June 5, episode of Stars on Mars, the 29-year-old designer admitted that she only began to understand her family’s fame once Moore and the That 70s Show alum started dating.
Tallulah said during the episode,
“It was, like, 2003, [and] my mom had just started dating Ashton,”
“It was that moment, [when] a lot [was] going on, [that] I really went inside of myself.”
The youngest child of Bruce and Demi added,
“That did send me into, like, a total dumpster fire. It was really hard, and I’m still unpacking.”
The Wyllis founder was only 8 years old when Moore tied the knot with Kutcher. There was also a huge controversy regarding their age gap since the G.I. Jane actress was already 40 and Ashton was only 25 at the time.
The two were married for 6 years before calling it quits in 2011. They finalized their divorce in 2013.

Willis battled anorexia in 2022
After their split, Ashton also recalled how hard it was for him to be a stepfather to Moore’s three daughters in his 20s. He also found it extremely hard to blend in with his then-wife’s big family.
In an interview with Esquire, while making a comment on Moore’s memoir Inside Out, Kutcher said,
“I was 26, bearing the responsibility of an 8-year-old, a 10-year-old, and a 12-year-old,”
“That’s how some teen parents must experience their 20s.”
He also expressed his frustration at Moore’s book because it caused more media attention to his now wife Mila Kunis and their two children, Wyatt, 8, and Dimitri, 6.
In her memoir, the St. Elmos’s Fire actress opened up about her miscarriage while dating Kutcher. Ashton later admitted that the loss was really painful for him. He also noted that his divorce from Demi made him feel like a “wholesale f—king failure.”
On the show, Tallulah who sought treatment for anorexia in 2022, opened up about her mental health.
After her beloved dad’s diagnosis with aphasia, the designer has grown closer to her loved ones.
Tallulah also penned a personal essay for Vogue regarding her dad’s condition, writing,
“He still knows who I am and lights up when I enter the room,”
“In the past I was so afraid of being destroyed by sadness, but finally I feel that I can show up and be relied upon. I can savor that time, hold my dad’s hand and feel that it’s wonderful.”
