The attorney, 48, took to Instagram on Sunday, October 1, to share the heartbreaking news that he and Tamar have ended their engagement. He wrote in an Instagram story,

“So many questions. So many assumptions, I want to answer all that I can with respect. Yes, Tamar and I are no longer together. I ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy & being a better person.”

He then went on to clarify the rumors denying the cheating allegation noting he was neither connected to a burglary of Tamar’s car at her mother’s house. Robinson said,

“What happened and why – that’s our private place, No. I never cheated. No, I wasn’t there when she was at her mother’s place when her car was burglarized. No. I never cared about fame. Who reveals their most embarrassing moments in their life to find fame. The truth is I was in an amazing place financially and mentally. I turned down Queens [Court] several times before I gave in. Ultimately, I fell in love and it did not end how I wanted it.”

He then concluded the statement by insisting they would remain a lifelong friendship despite the breakup. Similarly, he requested privacy during this time to heal himself.

“I have sat in silence for over a year, respecting everyone’s privacy while they disrespected mine, I’ve sat in silence while this person has come into my son’s life and caused nothing but chaos and unnecessary drama.”

Jeni claimed that Braxton has made disrespectful and outrageous comments about her co-parenting with Robinson.

Additionally, Jeni claims that Braxton has made no effort to meet her and has provoked Robinson to miss visitation weekends and birthdays.

“My son does not mean ‘everything’ to her and she has not thanked God for me & truthfully, none of his baby mamas,”

Jeni made it clear that Braxton was “in no way a bonus or stepmom” to her and Robinson’s son, Asher. She concluded,

However, Robinson came in support of his then-fiancee’s defense, praising her motherhood and love for his children.
