Jeremy “JR” Robinson proposed to Tamar Braxton for the second time on Christmas Day.

On Monday, December 25, the 46-year-old singer and TV personality shared a video of JR proposing for the second time.

In the video that she posted, she can be seen opening a ring box, and as she opened it, she and her kids, who wore matching Christmas outfits, were startled to see sparkle inside.

Similarly, Braxton wore a lengthy caption underneath the post, writing,

“3 months ago we thought we HATED each other and we were completely OVER…. Here we are after a simple football game box you got for your birthday and one REAL HARD conversation … we knew that whatever happened in the past was just that and ANYTHING other than US and our family only mattered,”

Jeremy, for his part, shared a series of pictures from their Christmas party including a closeup shot of an engagement ring. He then wrote in the caption section,

In October, Tamar and Jeremy called off their romance seven months after their engagement. However, it only took two months for them to reconcile.

In early December, The attorney shared a lengthy reconciliation post on his respective Instagram handle. He shared a series of selfies with his now-again-fiancee and captioned it,

“How deep is your love? How deep is the connection that God provided the way for? How do you handle adversity, heartbreak and healing? Well, I can testify that love hurts, love is beautiful and love is God’s gift to our hearts.”

Robinson then went on to ask philosophical questions about “sacrifice” and perseverance in love.

“Are we willing to set aside our own egos to protect what is still left of our love?”

He continued,

“Lots of questionsBut the answer is: I had to fight hard to push past the hurt, and past my own ego, because God kept bringing me back to how much I love @tamarbraxton – and yet, I still needed to heal to see the beauty of our love.”

The former Queens Court cast said that after their breakup, he was “angry” and that he “took advantage of people who were ultimately trying to take advantage of me.” Besides, he acknowledged while he was “healing,” he didn’t want to be around anyone else.

He concluded,

“I’m grateful that God saw fit to protect what was truly made for me and that we were able to find our way back to love. I am incredibly touched by how much she fought for me! I’m committed to loving this woman forever and I appreciate all the love and support that have come from our family, friends and supporters!”
