Is Taylor Swift dating Travis Kelce?

Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce have been reportedly getting to know each other better.

The Red songstress and the handsome footballer have been enjoying some dates together after the hunky sportsperson tried and failed to give the multiple times Grammy winner his phone number at one of her recent Eras Tour concerts, as per the Messenger.

An insider told the outlet,

“Taylor and Travis have been quietly hanging out,”
“She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago.”

Both Taylor and Kelce have yet to confirm the rumors. However, the latter, 33, confirmed that he was recently in New York during the August 31 episode of his New Heights podcast.

When his brother Jason Kelce asked him about his week off, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end tried playing it coy about where he was at the time.

Travis mused,

When his older brother pressed him, the athlete admitted that he disappeared.

Somewhere in the episode, the two brothers also discussed Travis’ mustache and Jason even asked whether or not he found out what Swift thinks of his new look.

Travis replied with a laugh,

“Um, yeah we are not going to bring up Taylor Swift in this episode,”
“But something tells me she is going to like it.”

Kelce said he tried giving Taylor Swift his phone number

The brothers’ discussion comes just over a month after the two-time Super Bowl champion revealed that he had plans to give a friendship bracelet with his phone number to the singer ahead of her show in Kansas City.

He said on the same podcast,

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,”
“So, I was a little butthurt that I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”

The footballer noted that exchanging bracelets was a famous thing among Taylor’s fans which he took inspiration from.

He said with a smile,

“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts there are friendship bracelets and I received a bunch of them being there but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,”

Jason, the Philadelphia Eagles center asked his younger brother whether he meant his jersey number or his phone number, Travis replied, “You know which one.”

He added,

“She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me,”
“So, I took it personal.”

Whether or not Taylor noted Travis’ sweet gesture, it seems to have eventually paid off.

Before the footballer, Taylor was romantically linked to the 1975’s Matty Healy after her split from her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
