Time When Taylor Swift Was Vocal About The Health Conditons! Taylor’s mother Andrea battling with brain tumor
Taylor Swift has a really busy schedule with her career and constant spotlight around her. Recently, she opened up about her emotional problems in her personal life.
The pop star revealed that her mother Andrea is fighting a brain tumor. The singer also talked about her eating disorder in the Netflix series.
Eating Disorder of Taylor Swift
The singer revealed her struggle with the eating disorder and her journey in the Netflix documentary. In Miss Americana, she revealed that the photographs and comments about her looks triggered her condition even more.
The singer also mentioned because of her under-eating habit made her feel she was about to pass out during one of the shows back in 2015.
In addition, she said she dealt with it a few times and she is not proud of that.
She struggled with it for several years. The singer would also starve herself and exercise constantly until she was a size double-zero. However, she did not accept it when people asked her about her weight.
She stated:
“I would have defended it to anybody: ‘What are you talking about? Of course I eat. I exercise a lot,'” she said in the film. And I did exercise a lot. But I wasn’t eating.”
In one of the interviews, she mentioned that the comment she received about her body was something that triggered her eating disorder even more.
Taylor Swift revealed her mom’s battle with a brain tumor
For the first time, the pop star opened up about the illness of her mother. While talking about her beloved mother and her illness, she emotionally revealed:
“Everyone loves their mom; everyone’s got an important mom. But for me, she’s really the guiding force. Almost every decision I make, I talk to her about it first. So obviously it was a really big deal to ever speak about her illness.”
In her new interview with Variety, she talked about the rough phase of her family with her mother’s illness. Her mother Andrea Swift was already undergoing cancer treatment. The pop star has also put a limit on her tour for her latest album because of her mom’s health.
The singer also revealed when they were filming a documentary about her life, Andrea’s cancer got worse. Swift mentioned when they were going through the cancer treatment, they found a brain tumor.

She also mentioned that the symptoms of a brain tumor were something they never saw while she was diagnosed with cancer. Talking about her upcoming project as she mentioned she will do stadium dates in the U.S. and festivals, like Glastonbury, in Europe.
Furthermore, she also added:
“But I also wanted to be able to work as much as I can handle right now, with everything that’s going on at home. And I wanted to figure out a way that I could do both those things.”
The singer emotionally talked about her mother in the interview, stating:

The singer opened up about her mother’s illness in the song “Soon You’ll Get Bewould,” which is from her new album ‘Lover’.
After the release of her new album, she mentioned that she will only do the major tours to be more with her mother. She mentioned that she wants to be more for their mother as she is dealing with a brain tumor.
The singer added:
“That’s the reason. I mean, we don’t know what is going to happen. We don’t know what treatment we’re going to choose. It just was the decision to make at the time, for right now, for what’s going on.”
In this hard time, she is trying to be more for her mother with her treatment.
