Tekashi 6ix9ine’s attackers have been arrested

Tekashi 6ix9ine was brutally attacked more than a week ago by a gang of men at a suburban Lake Worth Beach LA Fitness gym.

He had been hospitalized after having facial injuries and bruises from the assault.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has now detained the assailants as of Thursday, March 30. The attackers are identified as Rafael Medina Jr., 43, Anthony Maldanado, 25, and Octavious Medina, 23.

Along with robbery and battery, the men have been charged with assaulting the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez.

According to the police report, Hernandez was in the men’s locker room of a LA Fitness on Lantana Road near the Florida Turnpike when three men entered, assaulted him, and stole things from him.

Similarly, the men are said to have stolen $1,200 in key fobs for Tekashi’s Lamborghini, an iPhone, and $3,000 worth of Balenciaga shoes.

The rapper stated that he will not increase his security simply because of the gym attack, claiming that it was an isolated incident.

Who are the attackers?

Rafael Medina Jr., the eldest of the three men detained for assaulting and robbing Tekashi, is a known member of the Latin Kings gang.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff, he has been the leader of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Latin Kings for many years.

The Sheriff claims that he was previously convicted on felony counts in the mid-2000s as part of a federal gang RICO case involving the Latin Kings.

Similarly, Octavious Medina is Medina Jr.’s son, and Maldonado is a member of LA Fitness.
