The 79 year old stand-up comedian, Bill Cosby accused of sexual assault by more than 50 women! Will he end up behind the bars or will he be proved innocent? What is the actual truth?
- The famous American comedian, Bill Cosby has been accused of sexual assault by not one, not two but more than 50 women
- This has raised great chaos among his well-wishers around the world
- These accusations didn’t just start recently, but it is reported that these accusations date back to 1965
Cosby’s long-lasting accusation history
Going back to 1965, Bill Cosby was accused of drugging and sexual assault by Kristina Ruehli.
In the 1980s, the same kind of incident took place between him and Joan Tarshis and she tried to bring this issue to the public through a reporter but it was not published.
Again in 1996, he raped another woman named Victoria Valentino in the same way by drugging her. This list of accusers goes on and on.
The woman who can bring Cosby down
There have been reports of lots of cases when Cosby was accused of the sexual assault but every time he got away with it and proved himself innocent.
However, after the case filed by a former basketball player from The Temple University (Cosby’s alma mater), Andrea Constand, it seems that Cosby will finally prove guilty. She had been able to get a dozen other women to speak against the comedian but the case got closed as always in 2006.
Accusation by comedian, Hannibal Buress
After that another comedian, Hannibal Buress claimed him to be a rapist in a set.
The statement made by the comedian was taped which went viral and ended up bringing many victims to come forward, who asked for the renewal of the case. After the accusation by Buress in 2014, more than 60 women have come forward. It seems like this case is no joke.
Support to Cosby by actress Keshia Knight Pulliam
Cosby is also known as “America’s Dad”. This name given to him may be a mistake if he is proved to be guilty. But, it seems like his “TV Daughter” Keshia Knight has a full trust in Cosby.
She walked arm-in-arm in the court to support Cosby on Monday, June 5, 2017. After all, this is the time for Cosby’s near and dear ones to show some support. Read more…
According to the E! News, Pulliam was there to know about the truth. She said:
I came to support because this is where you hear the facts. This is where the truth happens. Ultimately, it’s easy to support someone and to be in their corner when things are great.
Keshia also added:
But true family, friendship, integrity is how people show up and support when things aren’t looking so great, when they aren’t shining.
She also claimed that she will accept whatever verdict jury hands down as she said:
Right now, it’s the jury’s decision, and it’s the jury’s job to decide guilt and innocence. It’s not mine or anyone else’s. As an advocate for women and with my nonprofit the Kamp Kizzy Foundation, which is all about empowerment, self-esteem for girls, I don’t take these charges lightly. I don’t condone sexual assault in any way shape or form.
Later, Cosby thanked his co-actor for escorting him to the court through his Twitter. This case may affect Cosby’s long-life earned reputation but if the accusations are true then we hope to find the guilty behind the bars as soon as possible.
