‘The Bachelor’ alum Chris Soules in Jail!! Arrest for Allegedly Leaving the Scene of Deadly Crash-one Person Dead!!

The police confirmed that they arrested the former Bachelor alum Chris Soules following a fatal car crash.

Update: The court has suspended the sentence for Chris due to his accident in Iowa.

Chris Soules- Arrested

The state of Iowa charged Chris Soules with a Class “D” felony for leaving the scene of a deadly accident.

The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office has charged Chris Soules, 35, with leaving the scene of a fatal car accident where one individual died. He is still in their custody.

The 35-year-old reality star allegedly crashed his Chevy pickup into the back of a John Deere trailer, which caused both vehicles to slide down into separate ditches around 8:20 p.m. on Monday.

He was reportedly in possession of alcoholic beverage containers at the time of the crash.

He was badly hurt in the trailer accident as he didn’t have on a seatbelt and was immediately transported to the hospital where he later died, according to the crash report.

Sgt. Scott Bright from the Iowa State Patrol reported that he left his pickup truck at the accident scene and headed north before the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office arrested him. The TV personality also went to the hospital for treatment before his arrest.

The court has set his bail at $10,000 and scheduled his first court appearance for May 2.

He had a previous records of driving while intoxicated in 2006. He also has several speeding and traffic tickets and pleaded guilty in 2001 to driving with an open container.

Soules, who is a farmer, first appeared on Season 10 of “The Bachelorette” in 2014. In Week 9 on “The Bachelorette,” he competed for Andi Dorfman‘s heart but was voted off.

Soules was on “Dancing with the Stars” in May 2015 with pro dancer Witney Carson as his partner. The pair finished in 5th place despite a calf injury that Chris suffered midway through competing.

In “Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition” on Food Network, the reality TV star competed and became the third person eliminated.
