His children celebrated their dad’s big day with their own tributes on Instagram accounts.
The reality star is currently serving a 12-year prison sentence for bank and tax evasion.

Todd Chrisley celebrated his life’s first birthday behind prison bars. His family and his kids especially made sure to wish the reality star his big day.

The Chrisley Knows Best alum who is currently serving a 12-year prison sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion received much love from his three kids – Savannah Chrisley, Chase Chrisley, and Lindsie Chrisley.

Savannah shared a throwback family photo with a caption,

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!! I miss you more than you’ll ever know ,”

She continued,

“It’s been 80 days… 80 days since I last received a ‘goodnight my angel’ text or and ‘I love you more,’”
“GEEZZZ how I miss them!!”

The reality star also announced how hard the time has been for her mom, Julie Chrisley. The reality star is also currently serving a seven-year sentence at a different prison which is two-and-a-half hours away from her husband’s.

Chrisley concluded,

”My parents have also been together almost 30 years… and in that 30 years never have they ever spent a birthday apart. So today… I’m imagining us all together in one bear hug circle!!”

The couple’s son Chase also shared a series of pictures with his dad, assuring him that he is taking care of the rest of the family in his absence.

The 26-year-old reality star wrote,

“Words can’t describe how much i miss you, this will be the first birthday of yours and mine that we won’t be together but we are together in spirit,”
“I Love you and I’m beyond proud of the man, father and husband that you are!”

He continued,

“We live in a broken world with a broken system but i have faith that we will be together soon! Until then i love you and we will hold it down! Happy Birthday Boss.”

Lindsay shared her short and sweet tribute by posting a rare throwback photo alongside a bible verse.

Todd is doing well in prison

Lindsie, the daughter of Todd and her ex-wife Teresa Terry wrote on Instagram,

“Happy birthday to this man with the braided belt on. To know him is to love him,”

Adding a bible verse from John 5:14, she continued,

“‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.’”

Todd who started his prison sentence in January is adjusting really well there. During Wednesday’s episode of The Southern Tea podcast, Lindsie announced that her dad has already made some friends in the prison.

She said,

“‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.’”
“His spirits are great,”
“He is really just embracing the process there and making the best of the process there with the people that are also there serving time with him.”
