Tori Kelly gave fans an update on her health just four days after being rushed to the hospital for having blood clots in her body.

The singer shared a screenshot of a handwritten message via Instagram on Thursday with a caption,

“As you may have heard, I’m dealing with some unexpected health challenges,”
”It’s been a scary few days but I can feel your prayers & can’t stop thinking about you. I’m feeling stronger now & hopeful but unfortunately there are still some things to uncover.”

The 30-year-old singer also told her fans that she must put her health first despite her plans to promote her new EP, Tori.

The Paper Hearts songstress added,

“Until I see you again, I still want you to enjoy a project that represents the happy place I’ve been in the last few years. I won’t let this hurdle prevent the music from being yours on Friday!”

The former American Idol contestant concluded her message thanking all her fans for their love and care which made her feel very overwhelmed.

The songwriter also captioned the social media with “Deuteronomy 31:8,” which reads, “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

On Monday, TMZ noted that Kelly fainted during lunch with her pals on Sunday night and her friends rushed her to a West Hollywood hospital where doctors found blood clots in her legs and lungs.

Tori’s husband André Murillo opened up about his wife’s condition

While the two-time Grammy-winning singer remained in a serious situation, her husband, André Murillo, addressed her health scare on Instagram.

The 33-year-old basketball player shared lyrics about fear from his wife’s collab with Justin Bieber, “Where Do I Fit In.”

The next day, he revealed that his wife was “smiling and feeling stronger,” she was “not out of the woods” yet.

He wrote on his Instagram Story,

“Just waiting on a few more answers,”
“Your love and kindness has been overwhelming. Thank you so much!”

The couple has been going strong ever since tying the knot in May 2018.
