Tori Kelly is ready to perform on stage again

Tori Kelly is all set to celebrate her career once again.

The songstress who was hospitalized for over a week last month at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for blood clots, appeared on social media on Tuesday to announce that she is ready to perform in front of her fans again.

Sharing a purple tour poster on her page, the I Was Made For Loving You songstress wrote,

“It’s been too long!”
“The #takecontroltour is here ♡ dm me w/ ‘take control’ for early access to tickets at 9 AM tomorrow!”

According to the poster, the nine-city tour will start on September 10 at Axis Club in Toronto, Ontario.

It will then hit big cities across the United States including Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Sacramento, and New York City, before wrapping up in Los Angeles, California with performances on Sept. 25 and 26.

Pre-sale for the tour starts today and tickets will go on sale to her fans on Thursday through her website.

Kelly didn’t provide any info on her health during the exciting announcement. However, her friends quickly shared their excitement about the two-time Grammy winner’s surprise tour.

Another fan wrote, “Oh, I’m THERE,” and wrote, “😌 we are ready.”

Tori announced new music following hospitalization

Tori Kelly’s new tour date comes just days after she released her latest album EP Tori which she shared before its release on July 28. She said at the time that it was “the first taste of much more to come.”

After returning to her social media after her health issue, she spoke highly of her new music, saying,

“Until i see you again, i still want you to enjoy a project that represents the happy place i’ve been in the last few years. i won’t let this hurdle prevent the music from yours on Friday! I love you all so much & i am truly overwhelmed by all of the love & care i have received. thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

Tori was released from the hospital in July after spending more than a week at the facility.

The unexpected health problem came after she fainted after her heartbeat fastened while having dinner with friends in downtown Los Angeles.

Following the collapse, her friends quickly drove her to the hospital.

After a few days, the songstress shared a handwritten note with her fans explaining her situation.

She wrote,

“Hi friends … as you may have heard, I’m dealing with some unexpected health challenges,”
“it’s been a scary few days but i can feel your prayers & can’t stop thinking about you.”

Confirming she is doing better, Tori wrote,

“I’m feeling stronger now & hopeful but unfortunately there are still some things to uncover.”
“I’m so grateful for the amazing doctors & nurses who have been looking after me,”
