He was on his session of streaming which he had to stop in order to check on the matter

Dr. Disrespect’s home is under fire

The Twitch game streamer was today doing a live session of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 battle royale beta when there were gunshots heard in the background.

He said:

“I’ve got to end the broadcast right now, someone shot at our house,”

He removed his trademark wig and thick glasses and added:

“Broke the fucking upstairs window. This is the second shot, someone shot yesterday, at our fucking house and someone shot again right now, connected with the house, upstairs.”

He stopped the session and went upstairs to see what the matter was.

Dr. Disrespect thanks his fans

He returned later updated the Twitch stream title and reassured his fans that all was well. He wrote:

“Doc and Family Are Safe. Proper Measures are be taken while stream is down for the day.”

He also tweeted the following message for his fans. He wrote:

“The Doc and family appreciate everyone’s concerns and well wishes. Thankfully no one was hurt. The situation is being handled appropriately. In the meantime, stream will resume tomorrow according to schedule. #FirmHandshakes.”

More details on the shooting

It has been revealed that the local police have arrived on the scene and fortunately no one has been hurt. The local sheriff’s department has also confirmed that a man with a description matching that of Dr. Disrespect had called to report the gunshot at his home and that this was the second report in 2 days.

The local investigators have communicated that the gun used in the attack was more likely to be a BB gun and not a deadlier weapon.

Dr. Disrespect and his career

Dr. Disrespect is Guy Beahm and is 41 years old. He is a former community manager for Sledgehammer Games and multiplayer level designer for the Call of Duty game, especially the advanced warfare.

Beahm also had a YouTube channel and his first video was on the gameplay of COD: Modern Warfare 3. He was inactive on the site from 2011 for 5 years. Then in 2016, he started Twitch.

He streams live on Twitch and has 2.5 million followers. In 2017, he was a recipient of the Trending Gamer award at The Game Awards.

He specializes in battle royale games and is also known to be sharing his marital problems and woes on the stream. He has grown to be one of the best streamers in PlayersUnknown’s Battlegrounds. (PUBG).

Regarding his infidelity

He had in 2017 streamed a two-minute segment wherein he said that he has been unfaithful to his wife and would like to take some time off to focus on his family and set things right. He was away for 1.5-2 months.

In February 2018, he informed his fans of his return and started re-streaming. In 24 hours, he had received over 15000 likes and more than 3000 retweets. He disclosed that he and his wife are in the process of rebuilding their relationship

As regards the gunshot at his home, no one has been caught still and the matter is under investigation.
