Divorce after a long togetherness is hard on both parties involved. American actor, Vincent D’Onofrio and his wife of 26 years, Carin van der Donk have parted ways this year. Carin is a former Dutch model and a photographer. The couple put in their divorce papers at the Manhattan Supreme Court on 12 April 2023, according to the news outlets, Daily Mail and New York post.

Neither Vincent nor Carin issued any public statement at that time. They remained quiet on the issue. Hence, one is not aware of when and why they separate. On 13 June 2023, they had to appear in a New York City court for this matter.

The two entered the building and courtroom separately. After the divorce, there would be a custodial battle over their minor child, son Luka who is 15 years old now. Their older child is son Elias. But he is 23 years old now and a major. The court proceedings were behind closed doors. The matter is heard by Justice Kathleen Waterman-Marshall.

Justice Kathleen Waterman-Marshall put some light on the divorce case of the case. He said that most of the issues between the two partners are resolved. He also revealed that it was the first time that he had met the attorneys of the couple along with the couple.
