Walt Willey is an American actor best known for his role as Jackson Montgomery on the soap opera All My Children from 1987-2011. Mr. Willey was awarded multiple Daytime awards for writing.

Apart from his acting career he also does host a charity fundraiser. He has also developed a children’s charity, “Willey World Endowment Fund”.

Before joining the cast of All My Children, he was part of numerous Off-Broadway production, which includes Dust Off with Dan Lauria and stints on Another World and Ryan’s Hope.

Later in 1981 started stand-up comedy. During this period he made headlines at famous comedy clubs such as Caroline’s Manhattan and the Comedy Store in California.

In recent days Walt Willey has continued to produce community theatre in Ottawa, presenting “Arsenic and Old Lace”, “Plaza Suite”, “Harvey”, “Deathtrap”, and “Auntie Mame”.

Walt Willey joined the soap web series Tainted Dreams in 2013, where he portrayed soap opera actor Gregory Ashford. He was also the part of Indie Soap Award-winning web series Thurton.

Walt’s new projects are The “Wild and Willey Comedy Tour” and his one-man show  “Wild Bill! An Evening with James Butler Hickok”

In 1992 he was nominated for the People’s Choice Award and was named All My Children’s “Most Valuable Player” by Soap Opera Update’s Reader Poll.
