Rock’s engagement with Audrey

The 48-year-old rapper had popped the question earlier this year to his lady love. Audrey Berry was spotted flaunting her new diamond ring at the musician’s Chillin’ the Most cruise in Florida this past weekend.

In 2011, during an interview with Piers Morgan, he had briefly opened up about their relationship but kept her identity secret.

It’s rock’s second marriage

This will be the second marriage for the star since he was previously married to Pamela Anderson from 2006 to 2007. Anderson, 39, and Rock, 35, have both filed divorce petitions, each citing irreconcilable differences, but they gave different dates of separation.

The couple was married on July 29, 2006, on a yacht in St. Tropez. He has a son named Robert James Ritchie Jr., 23, from a previous relationship with Kelley Russell.

The starting of all

Rock and Berry met in Detroit and have been together for years. Rock and Berry began dating a few years after the end of Rock and Pamela Anderson’s marriage. In a 2011 interview with Piers Morgan, Rock said,

“This is somebody who is not a celebrity. It can be a really tough thing to deal with. I’m thinking of somebody else, trying not to be selfish.”

Kid Rock also said that his girlfriend likes being outdoors and the duo was the victim of binge-watching sessions, including The Hunting Channel and The Blacklist. She poses for photos often and hangs out at events such as his annual Chillin’ the Most cruise.

The duo got engaged in a private intimate ceremony earlier this year. Although Berry was first seen with a huge diamond ring on that finger at the recent Chillin’ the Most fan cruise, which took place earlier this month. The couple has been engaged since earlier this year and kept it private.

The engagement

Sources who are close to the couple have confirmed that the two got engaged earlier this year, but rumors started when Audrey was seen rocking this ring on her left hand during Kid’s fan cruise a couple of weeks ago. Audrey looked charmed by her adorable gem … she couldn’t stop smiling and staring at it.

In 2015, Kid Rock told Q magazine that his song, First Kiss was about his longtime love. He also wrote a song focusing on her which was related to Audrey. The lyrics include:

“I like the way you hold my hand/And play just like my baby grand. I like how you don’t give a damn/And love me just the way I am. ‘Life is so much simpler being with one girl,’ he also told Q. ‘Now I’m not chasing chicks around I’ve got so much more free time.”

Kid Rock is best known for the hit songs All Summer Long, Picture, Only God Knows Why, and Cowboy. He is also a five-time Grammy Award nominee and has sold more than 25 million albums in the US, according to Nielsen Sound Scan. His last album was 2015’s First Kiss.
