The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Sunday, October, 15, the same day when they went on their first date.
The newlywed couple has been dating for almost seven months.

‘Happy married life’! Wolfgang Van Halen and Andraia Allsop took a milestone step in their relationship. The couple made it down to the aisle eight years after dating.

They tied the knot on the same day when they went on their first date, which was on the 15th of October.

The couple exchanged vows at their Los Angeles home in front of 90 guests. They only invite their closest friends and family. The bride, 32, gushed about their wedding to PEOPLE,

“Our goal was just to bring all of our closest family and friends together, The past few years, not only with the world, but also with personal tragedies, haven’t been the easiest, but we wanted to create this wedding as a celebration not only just for us to get married, but a celebration for the people we love.”

She told the outlet that they had the ceremony inside their living room where they could “have privacy and just have our moment together with everyone.”

Following the ceremony, they hosted a reception outside in the backyard, which was decorated with string lights and flowers.

Their wedding was officiated by one of Wolfgang’s closest family friends whom they have known for almost three decades. Wolfgang introduced,

“He’s the dad of one of my best men and he’s just an important guy in our life,”

Andraia opted for a custom three-piece black suit from Eva Lendel for her big day. The wedding gown featured sheer long sleeves with lace detail and a V-neck.

Similarly, she described her dress while noting,

“My gold was just to be able to be comfortable throughout the whole day and the whole night, It’s a long dress, not a big train, but hits the floor with lace and some beading detail.”

Van, on the other hand, dressed in all black from head to toe.

Wolfgang and Andraia got to know each other via Instagram. The son of Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertineli shared that their first conversation was about exchanging phone numbers.

“I have the screenshot on my phone of the very first text I ever sent her, where it was just like ‘Hey, it’s Wolf. This is my number.’ I remember where I was,”

In 2015, they eventually met in person after Wolfgang invited his now-bride on a “little trip for the day” around Los Angeles.

“I was on tour in 2015. I woke up in Denver to a message back from her. I remember exactly the hotel room I was in. It was on the last Van Halen tour. We were about to play Red Rocks and it was the day off before we played that I got my first text message from her and it was like, Oh my gosh.”

They had a sushi date on their first meeting at Halen’s favorite spot Aroha on Ventura and also enjoyed the sunset together in Malibu. He recalled,

“There were a crazy amount of shooting stars that night. I’ve never seen so many shooting stars in my life at one time, It felt like this is meant to be. It’s cheesy to say, but definitely love at first sight.”

In July 2022, Halen popped the question to Allsop after seven years of dating.
