David Murphey and Lana were part of season four of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.
Many accusations have been made against David after the show.
Many people thought that Lana was not a real person but rather a catfish.

Update 2022: 90-Day Fiance cast members David and Lana are no longer together anymore.

But it came as a shock in the 10th May 2020 episode of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days that his girlfriend was a real person. Before his private investigators told him that Lana was a scammer.

Lana broke up with him after their engagement. When the Tell All was tapped he had not talked with his ex-fiance for six days. He claimed that they were not together at the time.

David said,

“I’m not going to say we won’t be together in the future. She’s under way too much stress with what’s going on with the show. And the people who bother her. I told her that’s part your fault, you can get off.”

At present, he has shared a few pictures with Lana on his Instagram account. She is a blonde woman. He captioned the photo,

“My first photo with Lana.”

Even though their engagement was over, he shared his first date photo with her. They might get back together and have a wedding in the future.

David Murphey and Lana’s relationship

David and Lana met through a dating website. He wanted a Ukrainian wife and has been dating Ukrainian women for over a decade. David revealed,

“Every time I did I would start thinking about Ukraine, so I stopped trying so my heart was free just in case I went to Ukraine. I have dated well over 100 women in Ukraine. Turned down many marriage proposals and have been turned down twice myself.”

But he was attracted by Lana and they have been talking to each other for seven years. But he was not successful in meeting her as she kept making excuses. His four attempts to meet her were filmed in the show.

He went to Ukraine to meet her where she agreed to meet him this time. As per David’s saying Lana is still on the site as the site will kick her out if she talks to men from other sources.

What does David do for a living?

Murphey has spent 15 years dating Ukrainian women and dating websites for Russia and Ukraine. He said,

“I went to both countries. A few years later, Ukraine became more Western-like and you didn’t even need a visa to go there,”

He has spent around $2,000 per month dating women in the USA. The dating website was expensive for him. He works as an SR Systems Programmer for Clark County in Las Vegas.

The people who work in the same field are said to earn around $110,000 per year. Likewise, he also sells expensive items to make money.
