Amy Slaton is a mom for the second time

Amy Slaton is on cloud nine as she recently welcomed her second child with her husband Michael.

The 1000-lb. Sisters star’s boy was born via c-section on July 5 weighing 5 lbs. 11 oz. and measuring 17.5 inches at birth.

The couple named the newborn Glenn Allen Halterman.

The new mom couldn’t contain her excitement and took to Instagram to share the news of her newborn.

She wrote:

“The wait is finally over … Michael and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman.”
“The delivery was a huge success and now I have both of my miracle boys; our family is complete!”

Amy and Michael welcomed their first child Gage Deon Halterman in November 2020.

Fans will get an insight into Amy’s pregnancy and her new motherhood in the upcoming fourth season of 1000-lb. Sisters.

She also shared some glimpses of her new son meeting his older brother Gage for the first time, and his father Michael at the hospital.

Amy’s first pregnancy was well documented on the TLC show and there she talked about how she felt after meeting her son Gage for the first time.

The 34-year-old reality star said in a confessional:

“Looking at Gage, I just see his whole future basically, as he’s going off to college.”
“It’s emotional. You can’t really talk about [it] because you just love him so much you don’t have words to explain how much you love him.”
