Arie Luyendyk Jr and Lauren Burnham are going to have a rainbow baby!
They announced the happy news through an Instagram post and YouTube video.
Their baby will arrive in July 2021.

Update: Arie Luyendyk Jr and Lauren Burnham welcomed twins, Senna and Lux in June 2021 via C-section.

Arie wrote,

“We’re pregnant! We’ve known for a while and we’ve been trying to hide it. Earlier this year, we had a miscarriage and we’ve had some troubles in that area. We were really, really excited about welcoming a new baby to our family. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out at the time but I just took a pregnancy test and I think it might be positive.”

Miscarriage

Arie Luyendyk Jr. lost her baby in May 2020. On 28th May during her third doctor’s appointment, she learned that she suffered a missed miscarriage. It occurred when the placental and embryonic tissues remain in the uterus, but the embryo has died or was never formed.

Arie said,

“Going from scared at first a little bit cause it was so soon, then happy, then stress and just worry for weeks on end, and obviously today was the bad news and it’s something that you can never really prepare for. I feel like we’ve been trying to prepare for either good or bad news, but trying to stay positive at the same time.”

Arie Luendyk and Lauren Burnham’s married life

Arie Luendyk and Lauren Burnham walked down the aisle on 12th January 2019. He proposed to her with a diamond ring of 3.65 carats in front of her after After the Final Rose of The Bachelor.

Their wedding was held among friends and family at the historic Haiku Mill, a former sugar mill featuring vine-draped ruins, in Maui, Hawaii.

Likewise, their wedding was attended by about 120 friends and family members. Lauren looked beautiful in a Hayley Paige gown while Luyendyk wore a Kenneth Cole tux. They welcomed their daughter Alessi Ren on 29th May 2019. The family will become a family of four in 2021.
