Billie Lourd announces the birth of her second child

Congratulations to Billie Lourd who welcomed her second child with her husband Austen Rydell.

The actress gave birth to her baby on Monday which was confirmed by her dad on Tuesday at Variety’s Dealmakers Breakfast in Beverly Hills.

Billie’s dad, Bryan Lourd, who is a talent agent said:

“My daughter had a baby last night,”
“I left the hospital at 1:30 and got there this morning at 6. So I’m a little tired, but happy.”

The CAA’s co-chairman also revealed,

”Everything’s great. So if I wander, it’s because the adrenaline is still flowing.’

Now, Billie has also announced the name and sex of her bundle of joy.

On Tuesday, the 30-year-old actress took to her Instagram to notify her fans about the arrival of her bouncing baby girl with her husband Austen, 30.

Carrie Fisher‘s daughter also publicly disclosed her girl’s name as Jackson Joanne Lourd Rydell.

The new mom also shared a snap of her baby girl’s hands and torso and wrote a sweet caption alongside it:

’12 [sparkle emoji] 12 [sparkle emoji] 22 Introducing: Kingston’s sister [six sparkle and one sparkle heart emojis] Jackson Joanne Lourd Rydell [sparkle heart emoji]’

The Scream Queens actress and Austen, who is also an actor are already parents to their 2-year-old son Kingston Fisher.

Lourd first revealed the news of her pregnancy while attending the London premiere of her movie Ticket to Paradise. The movie stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

Billie and Austen welcomed their first child during COVID

Billie and Austen dated for four years before getting engaged in 2020.

Like any other relationship, the couple went through ups and downs in their relationship and even had a mini break. But they reunited soon and also welcomed their first child, Kingston three months after announcing their engagement.

The couple wed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico nearly two years after their engagement.

Billie’s dad purchased a block of hotel rooms for the guests and they later enjoyed a private pool party at the hotel before the ceremony.

Talking about her son, who arrived during COVID times, Billie said,

”He’s not technically a quarantine baby, and I want to make that known because a lot of people are having trendy quarantine babies.”

‘Kingston was conceived before quarantine. He’s technically just a Caribbean baby.’

Lourd also shared how caring her husband was throughout her pregnancy.

She gushed:

‘Now we know each other better than anybody could ever know each other,’
‘And he was so caring and incredible and cooked for me and gave me foot massages. And did these classes with me, like he did the lactation class, he did the positive birthing class, so he was with me every step of the way.’

She added:

”We just became even closer friends, even better partners. And I think it prepared us to be the best parents and he’s sitting out there with the baby right now,’
‘And he is as you know, the best dad in the world. And I think that’s partially because we got to have this experience together.”
