Billy Ray Cyrus is engaged to his girlfriend singer Firerose just months after his divorce with ex-wife Tish got finalized. Miley Cyrus‘s dad, 61 was hitting things off after creating the new song New Day last year and performing on the stage as a duo.

Billy Ray’s had prior to this rumored romance after Firerose was spotted with a giant diamond ring. They were also engaged as per the rumors swirling. But it was not that, the two fiancees just made it to the yes in September as an insider reported,

“Billy is happier than he has been in a long time with Firerose.”

The to-be-married couple also performed it together during their appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan. Talking about how he moved on with Firerose after splitting with his longtime wife the sources continued,

“There had been problems in his marriage for a while. He and Tish have been on and off for the best part of a decade, but things had been over for some time before the announcement in April. Not everyone sees his decision to move on so quickly in the same light though.”

The newly engaged couple had teamed up to perform live together and Firerose documented the moment on her Instagram in July 2022 captioning,

“So Amazing to be back performing at @OPRY last night! Such a thrill playing for an electric packed house and an honor to be sharing the sacred circle again with @billyraycyrus.”

Firerose and Billy were driving around a rural area and blasting music in the car a few days ago as well. Meanwhile, their engagement news came as a surprise to many fans after Cyrus’s wife, Tish Cyrus filed for divorce from the country star less than a year ago.
