Update 2022: In 2020, Brandi announced that she is expecting her third child with husband Max ‘Lux’ Boyd. She took to Instagram to share the baby news alongside a sonogram and captioning, “I will never let you guys down”.

New TV documentary series Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina: Didn’t We Almost Have It All premiered on 6th February 2021 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Brandi Boyd is the goddaughter of Whitney Houston who received fans’ anger after the documentary premiered.

Fans were unhappy with her as she shared personal moments of Whitney even though she was just a child when they occurred. A fan tweeted,

“I don’t believe nothing Brandi Boyd is saying in this documentary…”

Another unhappy viewer added,

“How is Brandi up here talking about her early life, when she’s at least 20 years younger?”

The third Twitter user wrote,

“I get that Brandi’s her goddaughter, but how she know all this stuff that happened when she was just a kid around the time?”

Some viewers did not like Brandi’s appearance on the show. But, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Brandi is the executive producer of the documentary and she is working on it since the year 2018.

Previously, she revealed that she is proud to be one of the executive producers of the show. She was aiming to reveal the positive side of Whitney’s story.

Whitney being her godmother had given her strength. She taught her to love everyone and not to judge a person on the basis of their religion. American singer Whitney Houston expired on 11th February 2012 by drowning due to coronary artery disease and cocaine intoxication.

Brandi Boyd and Max Lux’s married life

Brandi Boyd and Max Lux walked down the aisle in the year 2007. In the year 2013, they were blessed with a son Prince Brandus and their daughter Princess Cadence was born in 2019.

Her husband Max’s cheating rumors have come out multiple times but Brandi remained devoted to their family while trying to expand their business outside of music with retail stores.

Likewise, on 7th December 2020, Brandi posted audio to her Instagram Live where she seemed to be domestically abused by her husband. In the audio, Boyd yelled,

“Last time y’all see him beat on me. You won’t have to see this ever again. I promise. Never again will you see your mom get beat on.”

But, both Max and Brandi have refused the domestic abuse allegation. She even showed her body and claimed that she does not have any signs of bruises. At present, she is pregnant with her third child with Max.
