Britt McHenry got an offer in WJLA’s sister station, in Washington at NewsChannel 8.

She worked for ABC Television affiliated, WJLA-TV, and its sister station ‘NewsChannel-8’ as a sportscaster and fill-in anchor. Soon, she became a dugout reporter for ‘Fox Sports San Diego’ in a ‘San Diego Padres’ telecast.

Britt McHenry left ABC on 7 March 2014 and joined ESPN, as a Washington-based bureau reporter, and contributed to various shows like SportsCenter, Outside the Lines, NFL Live, and Baseball Tonight.

Sadly, she was suspended by ESPN for verbally abusing a tow lot employee which was captured in a video that leaked through ‘LiveLeak’.

She used some abusive sentences to the employee’s job, and their educational level and threatens to sue but, after this incident, she confessed her mistake and promised to learn from her mistake. Apart from this incident, she is a very successful reporter.
