Brooke Shields and her past relationships

One knows Brooke Shields from her several memorable roles, especially in Pretty Baby and Blue Laguna. She has been facing the camera since she was just 11 months old. At that time, she was featured in an ad for Ivory soap.

Brooke had a controversial early career and did several sexualized roles and bold scenes in her teen years. She was just 11 when she acted in Pretty Baby. She plays the character of a precocious daughter of a female sex worker.

Often, Brooke was spotted with her co-star, Scott Baio. But later, both admitted that they were just friends. Their dating was a publicity stunt. Later, her mother Teri made her match with John Travolta who was 11 years older than her. Though the relationship was platonic, the two did have an affection for each other.

Later, Brooke was linked to Michael Jackson. Of him, she said:

Brooke and Andre Agassi: her first marriage

In 1993, Brooke met tennis player, Andre Agassi. They communicated via fax and talked about personal common problems. Brooke said:

“We began to communicate via long rambling faxes about life and God and the strange burden of fame and overpowering parents,”

But jealousy overtook Andre and their relationship was strained. Nonetheless, they wed in 1997 and divorced two years later. Andre was into crystal meth addiction which led to their split.

The couple did not share any children. She had purchased a house at that time. And she sold it in March 2022 for USD 7.4 million.

After Andre, she had a one-sided love for George Michael. Though he liked her, he said that he wanted to focus on his career. Later, George came out as gay.

Brooke and her second marriage

In 1998, she and screenwriter Chris Henchy met on the sets of NBC’s Christmas in Washington. After her divorce, the two got close and wed in 2001. The venue was Marina del Rey, California and she said:

“If there’s a moment when I’m starting to feel insecure … all he has to do is say, ‘You know, you look beautiful,’ “
“And I know it’s coming from a sincere place.”

The couple has two daughters. The eldest Rowan Francis Henchy arrived in 2003 while the younger Grier Hammond Henchy was born in 2006.
