Victoria Beckham revealed that her husband David Beckham surprised her with a vow renewal ceremony after he allegedly had multiple affairs in 2003.

In an interview with fashion correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi in Today With Hoda & Jenna, the fashion designer said,

“We were doing school on Monday and David said we had to go somewhere for the afternoon,”

The Spice Girls singer revealed that the footballer gave her the surprise while they were living in Spain from 2003 to 2007. The couple, however, decided to renew their vows back home in London as they had a little chapel in the garden.

She said,

“We land in London, get off the plane and were met by the same car that drove us on our wedding day,”

“We got remarried with the priest that married us all those years ago!”

Explaining why she named one of her brand’s perfumes Suite 302, the fashion icon said,

“I think how can this get any better? We get on the plane and we fly to Paris, where we had a 24-hour honeymoon and we stayed in Suite 302,”

The mother of four shares in the perfume’s description that it “conjures the sumptuous spirit of whirlwind weekends in Paris in the memory of Suite 302.”

The product’s website says about it,

Victoria Beckham fought for her marriage after David’s alleged affair

The couple does not have any photos from their second marriage but David previously admitted that the ceremony took place.

He told BBC Radio in 2017,

“We have renewed our vows since [our first wedding],”
“It was a lot more private, about six people there in our house.”

Victoria’s vow renewal confession comes right after she speaks about her husband’s reported affairs for the first time.

David, for his part, said that the time was very difficult but they got through it knowing they “needed to fight for our family.”

David and Victoria tied the knot in 1999. Aside from Brooklyn, 24, and Romeo, 21, the two share son Cruz, 18, and daughter Harper, 12.
