Devon Franklin opens up about his sentiments following his ex-wife Meagan Good romance rumors with Jonathan Major.

Meagan and Jonathan sparked dating rumors after the two were spotted at the Alamo Drafthouse in Los Angeles last month for a movie date.

TMZ confirmed with a source that their relationship is “fairly new” and they have “been getting close” over the past few weeks. However, the pair has yet to comment on their romance news.

The author and motivational speaker, 45, recently made an appearance on Power 102.1’s ‘The Breakfast Club’ where he discussed his divorce from the actress and shared how emotional the process was for him.

He shared,

“Mentally, I’m doing much better. But… there are nights where I’m crying myself to sleep. There are moments when I’ve been angry, but I’ve allowed myself to feel whatever I’ve felt in order to heal; because, in my experience, when I’m not facing what I’m feeling then, I’m trying to find something else to help me get through the pain.”

During the conversation when Franklin asks if Megan’s new romance bothers him, so he simply replies,

“Upset me? No, If she’s happy, that’s a blessing,”

He then went on to acknowledge why he is not bitter when co-host DJ Envy mentioned that other individuals in his situation might be. Franklin explained,

“If that was the case, if I had that perspective, whatever I’m putting out, that’s what’s coming back, I don’t have any ill will to anyone in that regard because I don’t have ill will towards myself in that regard. There’s no hate… there are feelings, but I’ll leave it at that. No hate over here.”

Moreover, the former couple remains good friends.

Devon and Meagan called it quits on their marriage in 2021 after nine years of togetherness.

While speaking to PEOPLE, the now-ex-couple said they amicably decided to split up as there was “no one at fault” and it was simply “the next best chapter in the evolution of [their] love.”

Although they married for almost a decade they don’t share any children together.

They also published a novel together called “The Wait: A Powerful Practice for Finding the Love Of Your Life and The Life You Love”.
