Mary is not only known for being the ex-wife of Steve Harvey but she is a makeup artist as well. She worked in the field even before meeting Harvey.

When did Mary Lee and Steve Harvey divorce?

Mary Lee Harvey was previously married to six-time Daytime Emmy Award winner Steve Harvey. They walked down the aisle on 21st June 1996. Before Mary, Steve tied the knot to Marcia Whitman whom he divorced two years before marrying Mary.

Steve and Mary met each other in a comedy club in Arlington, Texas. Harvey used to perform in that club in 1989.

After almost 9 years of their marriage, they decided to file for divorce. Their divorce was finalized on 3rd December 2005. After their divorce, she claimed that Steve killed her soul. She claimed,

“Soul murdering is a crime, not a diagnosis. Soul murder is achieved by a combination of torture, deprivation, and brainwashing.”

Likewise, she claimed that Steve caused her much mental pain and suffering. He threatened, manipulated, and caused intentional emotional distress to Mary.

Mary Lee Harvey has a son Wynton Harvey from her ex-husband, Steve Harvey. Her son was born on 18th July 1997 in the USA. He has half-siblings Broderick Harvey Jr., Karli Harvey, and Brandi Harvey.

Wynton’s uncle is Terry Harvey. Similarly, his two aunts are Mona Harvey and Pauline Harvey. Wynton claims that his father is his idol. Similarly, he has appeared as a special host on his father Steve Harvey’s eponymous talk show.

In September 2015, he was featured on his father’s YouTube channel in the video Wynton & Lori Pack for College. Talking about his relationship status, Wynton is dating Taylor Gordon. They have been together since 2016.
