He was born on 30th March 1995, in Oakville, a suburban town in southern Ontario, Canada

His father, Allain Lupien, used to work at his mother-in-law’s music studio, The Dot Blakely Studio, located in Simcoe, Ontario. Later, his father and mother, Dawn Lupien, established the Canadian Dance Academy in 1985.

Isaac is the youngest of the four Lupien siblings and they are of French-Canadian descent. All three of Isaac’s older sisters are also involved in dancing and acting.

One of his sisters, Samantha Lupien, is a trained dancer in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, and many more. Another sister, Lindsay Lupien, is an actress best known for The Santa Clause. Similarly, Tabitha Lupien is also an actress and dancer known for Look Who’s Talking Now, Ready or Not, People of Earth, and many more.

When he was only 11 months old, he was included in a dance performance. He began taking dance lessons at his parents’ dance studio when he was just a two-year-old!

He began excelling in different dance forms like jazz, ballet, and contemporary during his college years. Later, he also learned tap, hip-hop, and tumbling.

Even before Isaac Lupien landed his role on ‘The Next Step,’ he appeared campaigns for ‘Pillsbury Doughboy’, ‘Concerned Children’, ‘KFC’, and ‘Hess truck, to name a few.

He debuted his film career from the 2008 release ‘Flash of Genius’ which is based on a ‘New Yorker’ article by John Seabrook published in 1993, about the legal battle between American inventor Robert Kearns and the ‘Ford Motor Company’.

After multiple rounds of auditions and subsequent selections, the show, The Next Step, began filming on July 12, 2012, in Toronto, Canada. The pilot aired on the ‘Family Channel’ on March 8, 2013, where he appeared as Eldon, a “dance nerd”.

Moreover, he made his appearance in the documentary ‘The Next Step Live: The Movie’ (2015), a film based on the first nationwide tour by the cast.

Award

He is a bronze medalist at the 2008 International Dance Organization’s World Championships in Germany also at the Showstoppers American Dance Championships; he won the Senior 1st Solo Artist Award.

Moreover, he won the Senior VIP at the Jump Dance Convention in 2012.

In addition, he won the title of the Senior Soloist at ‘Showstopper American Dance Championships’ in 2013 in Myrtle Beach.
