Jelena Đoković was born Jelena Ristic on the 17th of June 1986 in Belgrade, Serbia. Her father, Miomir Ristic, and mother, Vera Ristic are of Serbian ethnicity.

She has an elder sister, Marija. Marija is also a businesswoman. They share a bond as friends rather than the sisters. Also, they are business partners too.

Since childhood, she was brilliant in her studies. After graduating from High School, she moved to Italy to pursue her education. At the time, she was just 18 years old. In 2008, she graduated from the Bocconi University in Milan with Honors in business administration. At the time, she was active in sports marketing too.

In 2010, she joined the IUM. From the University, she earned a master’s degree.

After graduating from Bocconi University, Jelena Đoković started her career as Human Resources Coordinator for Tamoil SAM. At the time, she was responsible for reporting the HR managers and recruiting candidates for higher positions.

Later, in 2011, Jelena Đoković joined the Jelena Ristic Consulting as a director. For the company, she is responsible for Digital branding, band developments, and many more.

The same year, she joined the Novak Djokovic Foundation as Global CEO. Along with the foundation, she mainly works on promoting child education among poor families.

In 2015, she was promoted to be the National Director of the foundation. The same year, her foundation partnered with the World Bank. As of now, the foundation has built around 43 schools that have supported more than 20 thousand children and thousand of families.

Besides that, in July 2018, Jelena Đoković founded JelenaDjokovic.com. Also, she works as an editor for the firm. Apart from that, she happens to be the founder and executive director of Original Magazin.

In her defense, Jelena Đoković made her full statements stating that she only shared the video as that mentioned the teaching of Rudolf Steiner. Also, she added that she is not claiming the video is true.
