Australian musician John Farnham is undergoing a 12 HOUR operation after being diagnosed with cancer.
The Adult contemporary singer was rushed to hospital on August 23, 2022, for immediate operation at age 73.
Iconic singer had last performed alongside the late singer Olivia Newton-John who died of breast cancer at 73.

Much-loved singer John Farnham was diagnosed with cancer lately in August for which he is undergoing treatment and surgeries. According to the recent update, You’re the Voice singer will make a full recovery after the cancerous growth is surgically removed and the probabilities are high.

The singer’s wife Jill Billman, and their two adult sons, Robert and James confirmed the news of John Farnham’s cancer in a statement saying,

“We have recently discovered that John has a cancerous growth. He has been admitted to hospital this morning for surgery and ongoing treatment. “

“The one thing I know for sure is that we have the very best healthcare professionals in Victoria, and we can be grateful for that. I know I am.”

John Farnham had a severe Kidney Infection at 71 before cancer

John Farnham has also been every ill three years ago in 2019. He had a severe kidney infection and dehydration due to which he canceled his tour and passed a health update briefing,

“I didn’t realize until too late. I’d been feeling uncomfortable. My wife Jill had been telling me to go to the doctor.”

John after the terrible shock and alarming signs to his health gave up a lifetime habit of smoking and reduced his alcohol intake. Before that, he had tinnitus and hearing loss and wore a hearing aid.

John was the last one to perform on stage with late singer Olivia Newton-John

Farnham is also facing a cancer battle after being left heartbroken over the death of his longtime friend, Olivia Newton-John. He had also grieved over her death saying,
