‘Pregnancy alert‘! Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown are expanding their family.

On Monday, December 25, the 30-year-old country music artist announced on Instagram that he and Katelyn are expecting their third child together.

He posted a family photo featuring their two elder daughters, Kodi, 23 months, and Kingsley, 4, who is holding up an ultrasound photo.

Similarly, he simply captioned the post, writing,

“Merry Christmas everyone!!”

Many people congratulated the couple as soon as they announced their pregnancy, including their celebrity friends Taylor Lautner and Cole Swindell.

The expectant couple often shared glimpses of their family on social media. A week before their pregnancy announcement, Katelyn posted a lovely video of Kane playing with Kingsley in front of a Christmas tree.

She also captioned the post, penning down,

“Saturday nights look a lot different now.”

A Short Relationship Timeline of Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown

Kane first met Katelyn back in 2016 at a bar, Dallas Bull, in Tampa, Florida, where he was performing.

The two initially connected over their mutual love and passion for music and later they began dating. After almost two years of dating, the couple tied the knot in 2018.

In October 2019, the pair welcomed their first child together just a year after getting married.

Similarly, the “Be Like That” singer and his wife made a surprise announcement in December 2021, announcing the birth of their second child.

Besides, the happy couple has collaborated on a 2022 song together titled Thank God. They also performed the loving duet at the 2023 CMT Music Awards.

After “Thank God” was released, Kane talked to PEOPLE about his collaboration with his wife. He revealed,

“My fans have been waiting five years for us to sing together . . . There [were] actually four [other songs] that we had, I was like, ‘Babe, you’re going to be on this one, or this one or this one.’ And then ‘Thank God’ came in and I was like, ‘This is the one.’ And she said the same thing, but I’m so glad I waited for this particular one to come out.”

He continued,

“I keep telling everybody she’s my secret weapon, but this song is just, like, us. I feel like it’s any relationship song or anybody that’s married or going to get married just knows. It’s like, ‘God put you in my life for a reason.'”
