Kate shares a good bond with both her exes
Hudson said that despite not being together, she still shares a great relationship with both her exes – especially with the Muse frontman as they are still close friends.
Kate explained,
‘I’m so grateful for the family that I have, and the relationships that I have. I’m so close with my ex, Matt, Bing’s dad.’
‘Like, I love him so much, and [we’re] exactly where we were supposed to be, you know? I think he feels the same way about me.’
Kate was only 21 when she married Chris – with whom she was madly in love. The actress and The Black Crowes lead singer tied the knot in 2000. They called it quits seven years later.
But her first husband taught her the meaning of unconditional love. The actress added,
‘The most important moment for me was meeting him and him allowing me to understand what that felt like.’
Kate admitted that she was attracted to ‘people with musicality,’ and her two relationships since her first husband have been with musicians.
After Chris, Hudson was engaged to Matt from 2011 to 2014 and the exes had a family farm outside of London. But after four wonderful years together, the Fools Gold actress and the British rockstar amicably parted ways. They now co-parent their son Bingham.
Hudson is currently in a relationship with Danny Fujikawa, who also happens to be a musician and record producer. He is the stepbrother of Sara and Erin Foster.
It was Sara who introduced the two and the two got engaged in 2021. The soon-to-be-married pair also welcomed a daughter named Rani in 2018.
