Lala Kent is pregnant with her second baby via artificial insemination donor (AID)

American TV personality, Lala Kent, 33 of Vanderpump Rules is pregnant for the second time. She has a daughter, Ocean with her ex-fiance, Randall Emmett, 52. But this time, she has opted for a sperm donor to help her conceive artificially.

Lala Kent announces her second pregnancy

American TV star, Lala Kent, 33 is elated. She is pregnant for the second time after delivering Ocean on 15 March, 2021. Lala made the joyful news on her Instagram recently. She uploaded a photo in black and white of her bare baby bump. Further, her daughter Ocean was also in the frame, smiling up at her mom.

Lala captioned this post:

“I’m expanding my pod,”

She added that she will be welcoming a new addition to her little family.

Lala’s co-stars were overjoyed on learning of her pregnancy. They soon took to the comments box of the post to express their happiness. Scheana Shay wrote:

Lala was dating Randall Emmett, who was nearly two decades older to her. After Randall divorced his first wife, Ambyr Childers, they went public with their romance in 2018. Later that same year, Randall proposed to her and she said yes.

They postponed their wedding due to coronavirus pandemic. Ocean was born in March 2021. In summer of 2021, they revealed their plans to wed in 2022.

After Randall was spotted in Nashville with two women, things turned sour between the two. They split in October 2022.

Lala had a difficult first pregnancy. She revealed this on her Instagram story in 2021:

“At 6 weeks I started bleeding. I went to the emergency room, already knowing what they could tell me,”
“They took me into the room for an ultrasound and I laid there quietly… I started to sob and gently asked how I was supposed to know what was going on. [The nurse] stayed silent, and then turned up the monitor where, for the first time, I heard the pitter patter of my baby’s heartbeat. ‘Your baby is still there.’”

She bled intermittently due to a blood clot and was on bed rest until it resolved.

Lala opts for sperm donor

The TV star sought help of a sperm donor to get pregnant the second time. She wanted to give Ocean a sibling. She told Cosmopolitan:

“We’ve got all our ducks in a row. The donor is secured, which I’m super excited about.”
“It took a really long time to find the donor because, you know, it’s strange… It’s like you’re shopping for your partner but only to have a child, so there’s a lot that goes into it,”

Further, the mother of one elaborated:

“But the moment I found this donor, it just spoke to me. He felt like my baby daddy. So that’s where we’re at. The moment I can go forward with the IUI, then we’ll be there.”
