The Degrassi alum Lauren Collins and her husband Jonathan Malen are growing the family member. The couple, who are parents to 2-years old son Charlie, are expecting their second child together.

Lauren took to Instagram on Monday, December 2, to share the happy news that she is pregnant again. She shared a sweet selfie of herself placing her hand on her growing baby bump while smiling for the photo.

The pregnant mama, 36, then simply captioned the post,

“New Year, New Look, New Baby Coming Spring ’23!!! #hunintheoven,”

However, the due date and sex of the unborn child are still under wrap.

As soon as the actress made an announcement about her pregnancy on Instagram the comment section flooded with the congratulatory message.

Canadian actress Kate Drummond went on to comment,

“Hun in the oven … so cute!!!”

How long have Lauren Collins and Jonathan Malen been together?

Lauren and Jonathan began dating in 2016 but it wasn’t until 2018 they blossomed their romantic relationship into a blissful marital life. The beautiful couple tied the knot in 2018 at Toronto’s Gardiner Museum in front of an intimate group of 120 guests.

Lauren gushed “it was pretty quick” to turn their love life into married life. She said,

“I think because there’s so much history between us, and we already knew each other’s family a bit, everything took off rather quickly.”

She then added,

“The wedding was such a great night. We basically relive it everyday, talking about how we want to do it all over again!”

Two years after their wedding, the couple announced the birth of their first baby in March 2020. She shared a photo of her newborn baby and captioned it,

“Charlie Sebastian Malen March 6th, 2020Read all the books, take all the courses, ask all the questions. But the truth is, nothing can prepare you for the intensity of childbirth and those first few days at home. The one thing that everyone IS right about? It’s worth it. I love you, little man.”
